Sitting down with a cuppa at my table in my home is the moment I have been waiting for for the last 4 months! We’ve been revamping our downstairs, it’s taken so long because we’ve tried to do bits of it ourselves, which probably wasn’t the smartest of our ideas considering Nick has been working away, i’m pregnant and then throw in a dog and a toddler, ha, Yep, what we were thinking?! Anyways we’ve nearly finished and i’ve once again been able to obsess over home ‘stuff’. My brother in law brought me this Quail pug vase for Christmas and I love it. I know there are a million pug paraphernalia items about but this is a good un. I love anything house related so wanted to share with you some recent doggy related products that look cool in your home.
Quail make so many cute animal ceramics, from salt and pepper shakers to vases and mugs, Liberty stock a whole range and they certainly add an element of fun to your home. I always think it’s best to stick to a single colour flowers when you have a busy vase like these, too many colours or types of flowers can make it look fussy – simple keeps it cool.
I absolutely love the whole ‘indoor outdoor’ vibe that’s going on at the moment and this planter is perfect for sitting by your back door and bringing nature indoors. Succulents are nice and easy to look after so a great option when considering what to plant.
I love the colours on these mugs, they certainly have the hand painted feel to them. I also really like it when mugs don’t match (but they do if you know what I mean), it feels effortless but still looks stylish when people come over. Also great that you can buy these mugs individually.
The grey tones of these towels would go in most bathrooms, but I actually picked them for this piece because I felt they were great for the kids towels (but still look nice in your bathroom!). A cute design, and perfect for the family bathroom in a dog loving home.
I know there is only one dog amongst the set, but that’s enough! Anything monochrome gets my vote and especially when it comes to serving ware as I always think it allows the colours of the food to stand out. A really sleek set for your dining table.
There are so many other doggy home products out there, as with all things I think everything in moderation, i.e I do try and limit the amount of pug items I have otherwise it gets a bit much! But a few subtle pieces here and there can work really well.
