Dairy & refined sugar free ice-cream

It’s hard to keep the kids happy and enjoy a moment of peace without giving the kids treats every 5 mins. As soon as you mention certain words.. chocolate, cake or ice-cream you won’t hear the end of it so I came up with this quick easy ice-cream alternative. It’s great on a sunny day and at this age they don’t know any different. All you need is a blender and a Tupperware dish.

Ingredients:
1 can of coconut milk
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 Banana sliced and frozen for a good couple of hours min.
1 tbsp Maple syrup

Method:
Place everything into a blender – blend until it is a liquid. Pour into a Tupperware dish and freeze for a few hours or overnight.

Icecream

It is that easy! It doesn’t come out like creamy ice-cream, it will be slightly icy so I leave out for a few minutes to warm up and then scoop some into a bowl and serve! the kids love it.

Extras:
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Cacao
Handful of berries
