Continuing our quest to find dog and child friendly things to do in and around North London, last week we headed to @leevalleyparkfarms which is FAB. So much for the kids to do, lots of animals to see and a playground to help them burn off all that energy AND you can take your pooch along (on the lead). With Arthur wanting to run around and lots of animals about I’d probably only take Rupes when I have someone to help me so it’s great for a full family day out. This was me enjoying a green juice at the stunning Dalloway Terrace in central London earlier today...dog and toddler free...but...the mum guilt is real. Whether you decided to go back to work or not, the guilt is always there. I know Sophia is having the best time at nursery and frank got a good walk this morning before I left, I am also heavily pregnant yet I still feel like I shouldn’t enjoy myself or deserve a break! This is something we need to actively expel and make sure we do enjoy these moments. I think of the positives like having more energy for Sophia after having a rest bite. Before heading off to see our families for the weekend, we kicked off the bank holiday P&P style and headed to Hampstead for a walk on the heath and brunch in @roebucknw3 . We opted for The Roebuck because it’s dog friendly, has a garden and serves food from 11am which is good for the little ones nap schedule. Ha, life certainly is all about logistics now isn’t it?! Remember the days you’d say ‘we went there because we fancied it!?!’ 🤔 Anyways the kids enjoyed the space in the garden, the food was good and the doggies found shelter from the heat under the table so it ticked all our boxes 👍🏼 Wishing you all a lovely bank holiday with your families whatever you may be up to.
